Is it possible to fall back in love with a fragrance that’s been around for years? In my opinion: yes.
Jimmy Choo’s Eau De Parfum was released to the world in 2011. For 11 years, the Murano glass inspired, jewel-like bottle has caught the eye (and nose) of many beauty enthusiasts and fragrance experts around the globe and rightly so.
The notes are a glorious mix of fruity floral deliciousness: it opens with fresh green top notes of pear and sweet orange, followed by a heart note of rich, tiger orchid and eventually settling into an Indonesian patchouli base mixed with sweet toffee caramel.
Why do I love it?
Ahhh… where do I begin? First and foremost, the bottle is not only exquisite, it’s resilient too. Whenever I travel, my Jimmy Choo EDP goes with me. The mixture of notes boost my mood even on the coldest winter days. I love the longevity of the scent. Being an EDP, this shouldn’t be surprising but still, I had to include it as an attribute. I receive so many compliments when I wear this fragrance. People now say “I know what you’re wearing. It’s the Jimmy Choo!”
The fact that it’s so distinguishable will make me repurchase this again and again.
Jimmy Choo EDP is a nostalgic scent for me too. 2011 is my official year of entering the magazine industry as a Beauty Assistant.
Do you see why it was my firm favourite within the fragrance category for the Woman & Home Awards Beauty Awards?
